Just a door with a frosted window and a lock that answers to money. Inside, the lights are low on purpose. Not for mood — for memory. You don’t forget things as easily when the room keeps its edges soft. A bag phone hums on the desk. Battery the size of a brick. Antenna bent like it’s been angry before.
